The Media page serves as your central photo library. Any photo you upload here can be placed on a guide card or chosen as your theme background. Guests will only see your photos after they are placed on a published card or active theme.
Upload
- Navigate to the Media page.
- Drag and drop pictures directly onto the screen, or select Upload photos. You can upload JPEG, PNG, and HEIC files (standard iPhone photos) up to 20 MB each.
You can also upload images directly from any card editor while customizing content.
Describe and credit a photo
Click on any picture in your library to open its settings:
- Alt text: write a helpful visual description for guests using screen readers.
- Credit and Credit link: acknowledge the photographer. Guests see this attribution wherever the image is shown. Photos imported from Google or open-license collections include locked attribution that cannot be edited.
- Used on: see which cards feature this picture. Clicking Delete photo removes the file from your library entirely.
Photos on cards
When editing a card that supports imagery, select Add photos to choose pictures from your library or upload new ones directly. The first photo in the list fills the TV screen as the featured hero image. You can drag images or click the arrows to reorder them anytime. How many you can keep
- Free plan: up to 50 photos. If you hit this ceiling, the dashboard displays: "You've used all the photos the free plan includes. Upgrade to add more."
- Paid plans: unlimited photos across your properties.
If it doesn't work
- A photo won't upload: check that the image format is JPEG, PNG, or HEIC and remains below 20 MB, then select Retry.
- A photo doesn't show on the TV: check whether the card holding the photo has been published to your screens.
