Send guests a link to the guide

Create a guest link on the Sharing page (open, password-protected, or expiring), share it in your check-in message, and revoke it when you are done.

A guest link lets visitors open your complete guide right in their phone's web browser, without downloading an app or creating an account. It shows the exact same published cards that appear on your TVs.

Issue a link

  1. Go to the Sharing page and select New link.
  2. Give the link a helpful name if you like, such as "Kitchen fridge" or a specific guest's name. This label is private and only appears in your dashboard link list.
  3. Choose your protection method:
    • Open: anyone with the link can view your guide. Because it includes sensitive details like your Wi-Fi password, treat it carefully just like you would a direct text with door codes.
    • Password: guests must type a password you choose. Because the link and password typically travel in the same message, this mainly keeps search engines and accidental forwards from viewing your guide.
    • Expires: automatically turns off a set number of days after a guest opens it for the first time, allowing you to send it well before they check in.
  4. Select Issue the link, then copy the web address into your welcome or check-in note. If you chose a password, be sure to copy and save it now because Bienvue will not show it to you again.

The active list on the Sharing page displays each link's nickname, web address, security type, and the date it was first opened.

Print a QR code

Click the QR code icon next to any link to view a scannable version featuring your property name and logo:

  • Select Print to print the code directly, or select Download SVG if you want to send a crisp image file to a professional printer.
  • Expiring links cannot generate QR codes. Because their countdown begins on the very first scan, a printed sticker would stop working for everyone as soon as the first visitor arrived.

Remember that anyone scanning a physical sign or viewing a past guest's photo of it can access your guide. Give every printed sign its own dedicated link so you can revoke that single link later without interrupting the links you sent to other guests.

Revoke a link

If a link gets shared with the wrong person or a reservation ends, select Revoke next to that link. Revoking shuts down access immediately and cannot be reversed. If you need to restore access, simply issue a fresh link.

On the TV

Your TV screensaver can also display a rotating weekly code that links to your full guide. Check out The code on the TV screensaver.

If it doesn't work

  • A guest says the link doesn't open: the link might have expired or been revoked. Create and send them a new link.
  • A guest sees an old version: remember to publish your dashboard changes, as the phone guide only reflects your latest published version.
  • A guest forgot the password: passwords cannot be recovered once created. Issue a new password-protected link and send them the new information.
