A property is automatically archived whenever you remove it from a paid plan, or if your subscription ends. Bienvue preserves your archived properties for two full months before permanently deleting them.
While a property remains in the archive:
- Guests visiting on a TV or phone see a calm resting screen rather than your welcome guide.
- The property cannot be edited or published.
- The property page in your dashboard clearly shows the date of permanent deletion along with all saved cards, photos, and connected screens.
Restore it
To reactivate an archived place, visit its dashboard page and select Restore this property. Because restoring adds the property back to your active billing, Bienvue shows you the pricing details first; select Agree and restore to proceed. Your property returns exactly as you left it, complete with all cards, photos, and screen connections intact.
- On the free plan: because the free tier includes only one property, if your slot is already taken, you must start a paid plan before you can restore the archived location.
- For hotels: once the hotel is restored, set your room count on the Billing page to bring back its screen allowances.
Delete it now
If you are positive you will not need the property again, click Delete permanently. This immediately wipes all associated cards, photos, and settings, and resets all connected TV screens back to their pairing screen. This action cannot be reversed.
